turbo 375?

turbo 375?

has anyone ever run this tranny in a 4th gen f-body i have some questions on it i know its basically a th400 with a th350 output shaft and a long tail tailshaft but how are they good or ****ty

Mechanically they are as you said a 400 with a 350 output spline , Other than that they are a th400

Pretty much as Performabuilt says, they are a "mid length" TH400 with a TH350 output splines. You can modify them the same way as the TH400.

cool cause my 4l60 is startin to slip like a boeotch on the 1-2 shift and i really dont need a 4 speed so this will work

What are you going to hook your torque arm to? How are you going to run your speedo? What crossmember are you going to use? Obviously, you're going to need a custom driveshaft. The 700 has more benefit than just over drive. It also has a lower (3.08) first gear, which makes it superior over a 400/475/375. The 400 will also eat more HP. Your car will most likely 60 ft. worse and run slower with the 400/475/375.
The 700/4L60E have gotten an undeserved "bad wrap". Mostly due to people THINKING they know how to build them.

im just ordered the bmr floor mounted adjustable trq arm dont care bout speedo <for now> and i need to shorten d-s 3 inches and i welded a tab and bracing for the crossmember
