Trying to decide on a stall converter.

Well, I am ditching my craptastic b&m and I was thinking of going with a 3200 vig. but I was also looking at a tcs converter. Does anyone know much about them or have good/bad experiences with a tcs verter? Do you think the vig. is a better option. I really dont want to spend the extra $200 on the vig. but if its that much better I will. Any other suggestions are welcome. My car is a street/strip car, mostly street. Cam is .544/.560 232/242 @ .50 on a 112 lsa though I am thinking of switching it out for something that peaks a bit lower.

The Vig. 3200 would be a good choice. Get rid of that B&M before something realy BAD happens.

I've heard the Vig 3200 actually stalls 3800 or so. Anyone confirm this?

I have an Edge converter and love it so far. Price is good and Andre really knows what he is doing.

Re: Trying to decide on a stall converter.

I am also trying to decide on an converter but might add a 100 shot on their also so think should get a antiballoning type converter like the vig.The tci are cheaper but don't think they are made for nitrous.

Assuming do go vig should I also look at a 3200 or should I go 2800 to 3000.My car is 3.42 gears and not planning on crazy mods really.Maybe a mild cam ,stage one lloyd eliott type head, some macs mabye and the spray.

The car is a street car and likely will very rarely see the track again.Especially as they can kick it off for no rollbar when it hits 13s.
