Tremec trans?

Tremec trans?
We are looking at a Tremec 5 speed rated at 600ft lbs. for our street ride. Has anyone used one of these and how do they shift at WOT? Are they pretty durable?? Lost low gear in a brand new Richmond Super T10 a few weeks ago and are looking for something with more durability.

if it's a beefed up t-5, then it's not a bad choice at all. I thought the TKO was rated at 700 hp, but if it's the TKO it is also a good trans used in many street rods and such cars with big blocks and a need for an overdrive gear. The TKO doesn't have much of an overdrive though...
