Ok first off i was just driving and it did this. i was going to the gas station and i felt like a "clunk" (not to loud but not to quite) and next thing you know i can't shift into any gear. i finally got it to shift and drive far enough to pull into the gas station (about 100 ft coasted most of the way) but after that it wouldnt move in any gear. it will run but acts as if the clutch is engaged and wants to kill itself. softly it doesnt like jurk the car forward or nothin just idles for a couple of seceonds and kills itself. Motor is a fresh rebuild. and motor sounds fine when in neautral with the clutch engaged. it has to be something n the tranny or clutch assembly somewhere. Just replaced clutch with spec stage two+ and ran fine fr a while. this came out of nowhere. Any input, suggestions, or ideas would be great. thanks guys.

 

nobody has any ideas at all. come on i need an idea of what it could be. this hasnthappened to anyone before?

 

if i am reading this right your symptoms are that it is hard to get in gear and id dieas at idle when in gear. sounds like the clutch is not disengaging check the hydraulics. also the check the fork ti may have come off its pivot.

this probably does not belong in the lt section the drivetrain section would probably be more appropriate

Your description of what it is doing is kind of vague. But to me it sounds like a broken ring and pinion.

 

it made a quite thunk and i had no gears. as in i couldnt shift into a gear. i finally got in 2nd but i had to shove it into gear. i pulled into the gas station and it felt like something in transmisson was binding. as in it would rotate but it felt like something was in the was. i put in reverse and it locked up the wheels so then i put it in neutral and pushed it into the parking spot. I really need some help with this situation, thanks for the so far also guys. you guys are awsome.
