Transmission is out
Transmission is out
I pulled my trans today. ive had some problems recently with the clutch not disengaging. anyways, i bled and re-bled the hydraulic assembly. got slightly and i mean ever so slightly better. but not for long. checked the fork. and well without experiance with transmission in good repair im not sure how it should feel, how it should move when engaged. Im lookin at the back of the pressure plate and nothing is sticking out at me as obvious problems. so wtf do i do next? besides throw parts at it until its fixed.
What kind of clutch and pressure plate are you using? I am dealing with the same problem.
I am currently using a LT4 pp and a mcleod performance disk. I just switched from a mcleod street disk and i wasnt having the problem before. I am thinking the clutch disk might be a little to thick. I plan on calling mcleod tomorrow.

Im not sure which brand it is. it may be stock but there are some centrifugal weights on the pp. but im not sure if thats stock or a centerforce thing. either way, this clutch isnt new. im going with an lt4 pp and havent decided on the disk yet
Sounds like a centerforce pp... Some have had problems w/ that over the past few years.. And some havent.. But it wouldn't hurt to deep six that and go w/ a LT4 setup or a Mcleod Single..
you won't be dissappointed..
