transmission mount
I did do a search and found that alot of people are using the Energy Suspension piece, i got the Prothane one. Either way, i cant have change in my cup holder or ash tray, thats the annoying part. I guess i have to use the supplied change holder in the console
I just did my tranny like 2 days ago. Used the exact same prothane poly mount, and I dont have a single vibration. I dont know why some of you guys suggest the stock rubber mount...(mine was ripped in half when i removed it).
The poly mount is not the source of the "crazy" vibrations imo. I would check the pinion angle and make sure you installed the mount correctly before you go with the energy suspension mount.

I WISH I'd have read this BEFORE installing my new Poly tranny mount. Vibrations are bad... I did put that extra "plate" in there, as the instructions in the box said to use it... I thought the little extra height was a minor issue, but did it anyway...
I'm going to take the plate out this evening and see what it feels like w/ just the metal cross piece that is molded into the mount itself..

Mine has ZERO vibration Poly mount and ive installed it on my 95 Auto, 01 SS 6speed and now on my 93 6speed. I dont know how you guys are getting vibrations and i used everything from the kit bolts and plates nothing transfered from stock mount.
i just did the motor mounts in my car with the poly mount and it was completely fine no vibrations at all and then i do the tranny mount and its insane. i cant stand driving the car the way it is. im going to check the angle of how its sitting and hopefully that will solve it.
brutal thats all i can say.
