transmission leaking??? *pics*
no it sould not move that much. it looks like the tailshaft bearings or output shaft is broken. looks like it might be time to take it to the tranny shop. it does not look like a simple driveway repair. good luck.
ugh really? So do uthink its gona be expenisve???
check to see if ya got any play in the tailshaft of tranny also i have yet to see a seal blow out for noreason leak yeah not alltogether blow out if there is ya got bigger problems than it not movin take it to tranny shop and get wallet ready
Your tail housing bushing has come out, That will result in all that motion, While theres no guarantee there no internal damage from driving it that way . Should vibrated alot! You for now need to replace the tail housing. Or you may try putting in a new bushing but likly the housing is whollered out. The its very possible you will be fine.

Easiest way would be to replace it you should be able to find one in a salvage yard. You may also likley need a new yoke for your drive shaft that also can be found there, The you remove driveshaft /torque arm and the 4 bolts that hold the tail housig on , Replace old one with new one you will need another oring is the one behind it is not soft, Then just put it all together and cross your fingers . Good luck
If you add fluid, it is just going to sling back out of the tailshaft. Likely, the tailshaft housing is going to have to be replaced. I would not even try to drive it in the current condition, but your transmission may already be so damaged, it does not matter. The black fluid it a very bad sign, as well.
Um...I can tell from your pictures that the tail seal AND the rear seal have already came out of your tail housing. This is most likely due to a few different reasons. One would be severely worn u-joints, or a bad case bushing in the transmission. You'll definitely have to remove the tailhousing to install a new bushing, because you'll want to make sure it fits tight. Keep in mind that simply installing a new bushing and seal won't fix this problem. You'll need to find the cause of the problem.
