Question Transmission "kicking"

For the past 3 days anytime a put my car into D,R or when it shifts from first to second it gives me like a kicking feel like a hard shift although it has been putting more power because when it kicks it sometimes makes the tires do a little burnout on the street. Any ideas? Its a 2000 Z28 with a stock Auto transmission.

Well, my first thought was a busted transmission mount, but that has little to do with having more power or burning out.

It doesnt do that every time. It might be the mount i'll chech it out. There are tons of things to work out in this car I already rebuilt the transmission and the rear end is next (its starting to bounce). The mount would cause hard shifts? Thanks for the help.
