transmission failure???

Driving on the freeway when all of a sudden the the engine begins the rev like i'm in neutral, but i'm not. I get no drive, reverse or anything. Transmisson was rebuilt 30k ago, and it gave me no signs of problems. My trottle sensor was a little shi**y and sometimes shifted on its on, which was a hard shift because I had a shift-kit in it. Suggestions?

Re: transmission failure???

It's done...Sounds like to broke something good to, maybe the main shaft. Either that or there maybe no fluid in it. Do you still have park? If not then you broke the Drum. Either way....Warranty (if you've got it). Otherwise steup it up to a prepped trans with a small converter, won't cost much more than stock parts if you do the work yourself.
