Transmission crossmember
Re: Transmission crossmember
If you are converting to a T56 you will need the T56 crossmember. I have one for sale in the classifieds. I screwed up and put it under powertrain parts. It has a picture. If you have the auto crossmember you will see the difference.
Re: Transmission crossmember
I'm not converting. I bought a Global west traction link torque arm bar designed for a M6.
http://para.noid.org/98z/traclink.html
"Globalwest has three Tracklink kits for 4th generation F-body cars. They are for 1993 - 2000 cars with manual transmissions, 1993 - 1997 cars with automatic transmissions, and 1998 - 2000 cars with automatic transmissions."
"The difference between these cars are the the beams. The transmission crossmembers are different between these three types of cars."
i need to overcome this difference so I dont get stuck with this TQ arm.
