4L60E darn thing is stuck in low does anybody have any ideals what this could be wasnt slipping nothing fluid is where it should be thanks

Is this your car or am I missing something? 6sp in your sig not a 4L60e... But as for what could be wrong it could be many things. Does it sound/feel like it is trying to shift or is it just holding the gear forever? Was your car recently tuned?

 

it my winter camaro just holds in one gear wont shift out n o it wasnt tune yet thanks

 

Does reverse work? Mine did the same thing when it died. I had no reverse at all.

Have you tried shifting it manualy. If it will shift manual then there is an electronic issue, if not the tranny is toast

 

mine did that but wouldnt shift into third, just held, i believe the tranny guy said my sunshell was bad or something like that my 3-4 clutch pack basically fell over inside the tranny and was not connected to anything just made a hell of a mess in there. hope that isnt your problem!!!! he got a "beast" sunshell for it, you wouldnt believe the difference in the strength just by looking at it!!!! i guess it is common for 700 r4 and 4l60e to break these. just a suggestion
