Trans for a boosted LT1 600-700RWHP streetcar?

I currently am building my turbo setup, and wanna know what trans to run.

Currently the car has a 4l60e that has been built. I have been running this trans for 2 years at 315RWHP then ran a 100 shot.
The the last year I ran my current motor Forged 383 LT1 making 411RWHP thru a moser 12 bolt.( i sold the 12 bolt bc i was gonna sell the car)

Now I am gonna use this trans until it pukes which I am expecting to be sooner then later.

What would be recommended. I wanna go to a TH400 reverse manual/t-brake. But I know they eat some power and highway would suck (this is a summer DD kinda)

I do about 70% street 30%track but also drive 2 hours to the track.

Can i get a 4l60e built to handle 800ish Hp? Or just go TH400 and dont look back?

Where is the best place to buy a TH400 and what to i need to swap as in flexplate starter etc?
Also i dont need a T/A mount as mine is mounted to the subframes
Do the TCI ones work good? They seem to be the cheapest. I wanna stay around the 1500 range.
Also I plan on going to a 9inch with a 3.30 gear or so with a 26inch tire still.

Here is my setup.

383 LT1
Eagle 6in H-beams
Eagle 3.75 Crank
JE -28cc pistons
LE2 heads
ported/welded intake
58MM TB
Splayed 4 bolt mains

dual 255 intank pumps
modified rails
60# injectors

4l60e
3000 midwest stall

stock 10bolt
3.42

Turbo setup

Garrett T6 74MM
custom headers (building)
50MM wastegate
2 DSM BOV's
31x12x3 intercooler
meth kit

I am hoping to be making 600-700 depending on boost and gas.

Best was a 11.79@114mph N/A launching idle (3rd gen brakes wont let me stall)

Thanks Jay

We have 4L60E surving quite nicely in application with more HP than that.

http://www.hutchtrans.com/ He's in London, ONT. TH400 or glide, he's the man.

I'd do a powerglide with a custom converter. To make it kick *** though, you need a non-streetable gear/max effort track gearing. Your 2 hour ride might be a little longer at 60-65mph... The tire/gear combo will rely a lot on your cam and powerband. If you do a tame cam and shift at 6000 will be very different than if you do a mild cam and shift at 7000. One might want a 3.73, the other a 4.30. 26 vs. 28" tire is also a factor.

Sounds like a bad ride and a cool thirdgen project. Goodluck and keep the updates rollin'.

I would give Shane Cobb at Carolina Performance Transmissions http://www.cpt4l60-e.com/ a call. I am making about the same HP with a D1SC powered 383 and just picked up my level 4 from Shane this weekend. Shane really knows his stuff on the 4L60E's and he goes above and beyond to make sure that you understand what all he is doing to your tranny.
