Trans
Re: Trans
82-93 is all the same basically. The 93 is a 4L60(no "e") and the 92 down is a 700r4. the 4l60 just hs a different valvebody. I used a 84 Z28 trans until my factory one was rebuilt. the difference you need to worry about is that the 92-down use a 4-prong connector for the tcc and 93's use a 5-prong. you can still make it work by splicing the wires. No big deal.
Re: Trans
Oh man. It's been a while. I beleive what I did was just match the colored wires together. The fifth wire goes to an extra soliniod in the valve body. It's not used in the older models.
Or you can do like i just did on my new setup. I have a 3500 stall and I have the tcc wired to a switch inside the car. I have full control over the clutch.
