I have a 95 Z28 and i am going to be replacing the tranny over the winter.. I can get a good deal on a 4L60E out of my friends LS1 camaro (he did an A4 to M6 conversion).

My question is will the LS1 tranny work on my LT1? I plan on getting a torque converter at the same time so i can buy either the LS1 or the LT1 version. I dont know if the electrical connections and all that stuff are the same on the tranny's.

I will also be getting the LS1 flexplate and torque converter from the donor tranny also. Will i need to use the LS1 flexplate on my LT1?
