Question tranny swap

Okay i just got done swaping out my tranny from the auto to a manuel 6 speed i got eveything hooked up it runs and driver great i love it BUT now my speed odometer aint right i can get on the highway be running 6000 rpms in 6th gear and it says i am doing 45mph what do i need to change out to make it right or do i need to adjust something ?

Well if it says you are at 6000rpm in 6th gear then your tachometer is messed up, unless you have a heck of a gear in the rear end or you were cruising at 230mph.

But i'm assuming that was just an exaggeration. I really don't know how to recalibrate a speedometer, I just know how fast the car goes in 4th gear at a given rpm.

You need to change the programming. The A4 program is expecting 40 pulses per rev while you are only having 17 pulses per rev with the M6. So at 100MPH your speedo will say 43MPH right now.
