I want to do a top end overhaul on my Iroc this summer. Basically, I am looking at heads, cam, and HSR, and possibly a Prom Burn. This is going to put me between 350-400hp.

I want to know, will my stock 700r4 and stock 10 bolt 2.73 gears hold up to it? Thanks guys.

 

If it is on the street only, most likely. If you are going to the track it really depends. Also, IIRC you need a prom burn to tune the engine, don't you?

 

Yeah, I'll end up doing that...I said most likely, because I am also debating a Crane CompuCam, and I figured that would work well with teh stock ECU, but I will end up getting a prom either way.

 

Anyone else have input?
