Driveshafts

Will 3rd gen driveshafts work on 4th gen cars (I thought they did, but i wanted to make sure). I thought all the one piece driveshafts were interchangable from 82-02?

Re: Driveshafts

The 1LE shaft that everyone likes is actually a 3rd gen part. They interchange.

Yep on the money. I walked into the dealership and ordered a 1LE shaft for a 92 Z. Been fine now for 10 years. (had it on my 93 before I bought the 97)

Re: Driveshafts

d/s will interchange from 82-02, as long as its a A4 or M5/M6(82-84 had A3s and M4s)
