i dont know much about trany. but mine is actting up. i have a 95 Z with stock 4l60e. the car shift fine under light pressure, but if you try to go WOT, i just jumps up to 6K,like its slipping,does it through all the gears, i drove it on the freeway and it seems fine until you jump on it. like i said i dont know sh*t about trans please help.

 

Mine was doing this. I just did a flush a while back when doing my long tubes. Before it was slipping with just manifolds. Now its holding up well after the long tubes! Must have been alot of **** inside keeping it from holding. Id say give it a shot, because its only like 20 $ for the stuff needed to do the flush.

 

This is a classic case of the clutches not holding at high RPM's. Looks like it might be time for a rebuild.
