my 93 t/a just recently has had tranny probs, and i no nothing about trannies! about 3 weeks ago my 5th stopped working it would go into gear but it would just act like it was in neutral, then the same happened to 6th about 3 days later. I was told these were my synchronizers and that i would need to get it fixed. Anyways, today i had to change my engine oil and after changing my oil it ran PERFECT for the next 2 hours, but then i went to drive and NONE of gears work at all now. EVERYTHING is like its in neutral and just revs up, it smokes from under the hood, and has a god awful smell. i was going to check the tranny fluid but couldnt because the plug is air tight, and i have no air gun...if anyone knows what the problem is with my tranny please respond asap
