tranny problem (need help)

I have a 1994 z28 (automatic) , does not want to down shift after a complete stop. already swapped the tranny , does the same thing now. Trouble codes that pop out when scanner hooked up are: (84) 3-2 shift control circuit malfunction.....

i would appreciate any help / tips / opinions

Was this code present with the old transmission? Did you replace it with a '94 unit?

I would replace the 3-2 solenoid and see what happens. Get the correct one for a 94. The code your getting is and electrical code. Since you dont know if the previous unit had that code thats really the only course of action to start with
