Tranny Problem

Ok, so I just got my 95 Z28 and yesterday I took it to AAMCO and they said I need a rebuild. Not to happy with the way the guy acted so going now to get a second opinion, but what I was wondering if I do fix it should I do anything to it while they have it apart? AAMCO told me $1800 for a rebuild and if its apart I might as well do other stuff if its manageable or if they will even do it for me with my own parts. Thanks guys!

Myself, along with several others, replied to your other post in the LT1 forum. Just an FYI, posting the same question in multiple threads is generally frowned upon. Just figured I'd give you a friendly heads-up before one of the mods lays into you.
