nah, foff. My 1/4 times are on some cheap dunlop sp sport 9000 tires. Can't get a decent launch at all. REALLY have to baby it off line. I should run deep in the 12's with some slicks. One day I'll buy a pair I have a dyno sheet if ya like. Also, it's posted at tulsadyno.com. Just look at the pictures page, and then look at the chevrolet camaro ss section. At the bottom right is my dyno sheet. I dynoed within 1 hp and 1tq out of 6 runs consistently. Oh, and that dyno was run in 110 degree temp in humid Oklahoma. I should have some better numbers to post once I can get the money and a decent day.

Not necessarily. A defective unit is a unit that was manufactured with a fault in it (ie a structural fault), that might not be visible. The product may look fine, get installed, and fail because its structural integrity failed.

after checking your website it states UPDATE: Will post dyno sheet soon, but with headers and predator tuning installed, I now have 342rwhp and 355rwtq and the one you do have on the site is 339hp & 351ft lbs...those #'s are more realistic for what your running.

well then they are all defective from the factory...the fault is they put two metal plates together using rubber...movement eventually tears the rubber...sometimes this takes 6 months sometimes 10 years but eventually it will break...its not a solid material like metal.
