How many times has your tranny mount gone on you?
I just replaced my second one within 3 months!

 

You are probably not tightening the center bolt enough... That or you just really beat on your car. I used to go through tranny mounts once ever couple of months. Switched to polly mounts and they last longer, plus I'm not as abusive to the car as I used to be, haha... but still I've been through 5 polly mounts, lol.

 

5 mounts? Wow. Im really not that tough on my car. Ive had the car for 40000 miles and within the last 700 miles, had to replace the mount twice.

 

using the stock trans mount or a poly mount from someplace like energy suspension? i just replaced mine with a poly mount, the old one was torn in half

 

Did you get the 1LE mount? It's stronger than the stocker. I broke mine a few years ago and replaced it with an Energy Suspension piece. No problems yet, except for a little extra drivetrain vibration.

 

Not 5 mounts total, just 5 polly mounts.

 

I'm on my 7th and hopefully last mount. It's from Energy Suspension, I went ahead and replace the T/A arm mount with one from Energy.
