Re: Tranny Mount

Don't get another stock LT1 mount. It broke because its weak. Poor design.

1LE (late LS1 mounts) and Poly mounts (Energy Suspension) are the realistic options. I have an ES poly mount, and I get little added vibration from it (it doesn't bother me). If I would have done a little more research I would have bought the 1LE mount, I think.

BTW I had to remove the pre-tensioner bar / washer piece from the ES mount for it to work right.

Re: Tranny Mount

ES Poly mount here. 4 years running. Still looks and works like new. It was under $25 bucks, so there's no excuse to buy a cheaper one. I definately recommend it. The vibration issue is highly trivial, but I personally don't remember noticing any more vibration over the stocker. Thunder Racing has em, but I also found out recently Autozone carries them on special order.
