tranny mount?

Angry tranny mount?

If my car is stopped and i let the clutch out i hear this ratling or shaky sound. but when i put the clutch all the way in it stops.
what is this? my car has only 50k miles
help plz

If you think its the trans mount then get down there and see if the bolt is loose or the mount itself is wearing...

I don't think it's a tranny mount. If the trans mount was bad under hard acceleration the trans case would come up and hit the floorboard, making a loud thud.

There are two common "rattles" at idle that are clutch position dependant.... the throwout bearing and the tranny input shaft. I think you get a little of both in most setups. The T56 input shaft always seemed to ratlle a little, from the day I bought the car new.

More and likely it will. Mine has a lot of tranny noises also. I'm juust learning to live with them. Just keep the music turned up or have a nice exhaust system. Now that i have my E-cutout and since i usually have it open i don't here the tranny noises anymore.
