tranny issues

Just yesterday had my Z28 up on a lift and my uncle and I changed the fluid and the filter in the tranny. Everything seemd ok, no leaks or anything like that. Well, upon taking it out and driving it, when you pull out, it drags sluggishly like it's almost stuck, then skips first gear into second. Tried warming it up, taking it out and about to see if things would free up but no luck. Not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

There's a possibility you may have disconnected a solenoid connector, or even damaged one. Check to see if you're getting any codes. It sounds like it's in limp mode.

BTW, you didn't have the key in the "on" position while dropping the pan, did you? I've seen fuses blow this way. Might wanna check them.
