Re: tranny help

what I do to remove them is Go on top where you can access right on top of the engine and reach back to the back toward the trans and use a 14 mm wrench and break them loose . That is what I did and it has always worked for me . Or you can use extenstions and get up there to the top bolts from the bottom of the car you might have to lower your transmission just a lil when you do that . Those are the only real 2 ways I have done it .

Re: tranny help

About ~24" of extension, a swivel socket (preferrably NOT a "universal joint" style) and a bit of muscle. Oh, and a whole lot of patience!!! (I could have used a tad more of that ). A 1/2" ratchet will give you a little more leverage than a 3/8" ratchet.

Also, in my case, those bolts are all a 13mm head, so I used a 1/2" socket (technically "too tight" to go on a 13mm bolt) and hammered it onto the bolts, then it stayed on better while I fought with them!
