Tranny Fluid

Hey i have to change my tranny fluid tommorrow, and i dont have an owners manual. Does anyone know what kind i would need??? I have a 98 z28 6m. Thanks for your help.

use mobil 1 5W30 motor oil for that trans and thats all you need.

Your Owners Manual recommends Dexron III ATF. I would not use motor oil in a T56. I believe you will find a sticker next to the fill plug that indicates "Use Only Dexron III".

Duuhhh!! my bad I was thinkg about the M5 in my Honda because some one asked me about that today also, sorry dude.
