Tranny Dying by the day

Well my tranny is making a herendous growl in the 1-2 shift about 2000rpms. I think I hear a clunk when I step on it as well. WOT it just stays in the redline section and won't come down until i release the pedal a little bit. Then when I press on the pedal again after it has shifted it shoots right back up to the redline. Oh this is so much fun.

This sounds like catastrophic failure. You might want to drop the pan and look for debris.

If you find you're in need of a rebuild, give us a shout. 302-250-1202

Thanks,
Frank

I am actually buying a rebuilt tranny from a member from another board. If I had seen you before i might have gone that way.
