I had hopes that my Auburn would qualify but it didn't and I went with a slightly used Torsen out of a 2000.

You can't rebuild the Auburn but they have a program where you can exchange your old unit for a new one:

As for testing your Auburn to determine if it is within service limits:

I bought a "take-off" torsen from SLP and used it when I replaced my 2.73's with 3.42's. I am assumming they replaced it with something better if they took it off and sold them. Don't know. Anyway, I like it.
