Tmission Problems

It shifts fine barks tires still, but about 70 mph cruising or at WOT it bucks ands slips i think, its not the fuel pump because i can put it in first and run 5k or so with no stumble, i checked the fluid and its nice pink color still. But just at cruising in O/D I have an Auto 97Z, it will slip , Im calling a gm dealer tomrrow and talking to a mechanic but I want an Idea first, and please no rebuild lol im to damn poor , bur everything below 70 is just fine!

Sounds more like the torque converter, locking and unlocking. When it does this, touch the brake pedal slightly (enough to make the brake lights come on) and keep the throttle steady, if it changes?, then it is the torque converter clutch, not 4th gear slipping.
