Those w/ Aftermarket Auto Shifters

I'm installing a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter and everything is going great, figured out the Neutral Safety switch and reverse lights, just had a couple questions:

The NSS wiring is 10 ga and the microswitches don't seem like they can handle the current draw from something that needs that big wiring .. did you guys install a relay for the NSS wires or just hook em up to the microswitch?

What does the little coil part that has a small plug going into it at the front (closest to firewall) of the stock auto shifter do? I unplugged it but don't know if it's important.

Anyone have any pics of there installs? I'm gonna just mount mine w/o a console for now and later maybe try to use my old 98 console with a few precision cuts.

Wow, not too many guys have pulled off a clean auto shifter swap. If you are talking about the wire running to the steering column(it runs partly by the firewall) that prevents you from starting your car in gear.
