The master cylinder is a royal PITA. It's very difficult because of the cramped engine bay. The brake booster is partially in the way, and some loosen it to get extra space. The steering column is another part that makes it hard. When I did my swap I had the steering column removed for the pedals, and it was still hard to maneuver the master cylinder in there.

i know that's what worries me is the brake booster......i can't tell yet b/c i haven't saw your how to and can't see very well enough to tell if it comes out from under the dash or under the hood......and the slave line that runs to it...i can't tell how that comes off unless it's clipped on b/c there seems to be no quick disconnect to it at all

i assume i'll have to bleed the system all over again and put fresh yet again DOT 3 brake fluid in it right??? i'm just covering everything the lid says DOT 3 brake fluid....that's about the only thing on the car i've never touched and i don't know if that will cure my problem of the clutch engaging everywhere w/n the pedal it might be on the floor one time and the pedal takes a sec. to come back up and the next time it does just fine letting out on top of the pedal...it's got me stumped...i've replaced slave, clutch,pressure,flywheel,t/o ya know with new clutch setup Spec so that's all that's left unless like a guy told me that it could be my t/o bearing sticking or something never heard of but i'll find out tonite if it's the master cyclinder i guess

let me know if you have any other sugg. to solve my problem before i install this master tonite if that's not it
