TH400 trans

Hi, I am looking to put in a TH400 trans. in my 94 camaro is there any thing I should know before I start like will I have to modify the trans brace? Where do I get a speed sencer that will plug in to the harness? I do know the drive shaft needs to be changed and I all ready have a lokar dip stick but that is the least of my wories. Thanks for any help. Jason

Do a "search" on the Drivetrain forum... someone just posted the part numbers for the VSS sensor and pigtail that will work with the TH400.

The TH400 will mount with modifications to the stock M6 tranny cross-member. BMR makes a replacement cross-member to fit the TH400 in a 93-97 4th Gen.

Make sure you get a long enough dipstick from Lokar. The original one was too short and left the end of the stick under the cowl. They came out with a longer one (36"?).

And... I'll move this to Drivetrain, since it doesn't belong in LT1/LT4 Engine Tech.
