TH-400 drive shaft length

Anyone know what the driveshaft length is for a turbo 400 in a 94 camaro. I got one coming and wanted to go racing this weekend but need to get a drive shaft made now. car has a 9"

All depends on tail shaft length of the th400 you have. They come in 6" and 9". If you know that then spohn already knows the length you need. Other than that the best way to know for sure is to measure.

As mentioned above the tail shaft lengths are very different. Most are the smaller length. The Th400 that came OEM in my 90 454SS truck has the longer 9.5" tail.

Regardless, it is always best to take a measurment of the installed tranny & diff components to ensure a correct custom size shaft.

I would measure before I would a driveshaft for your setup.

I'd measure it just to be sure. I got one made in about 3 hours at a local shop. Although mine was for a 4L80E and they had all the parts in stock.
