tc needs warming up!?

When I start my car when it is kinda cold out, the converter doesn't seem to engage. It'll get up to 4k and I still am not going anywhere. (3k stall) My drive is so short the car never gets to warm up! So it stays like this a lot. (my drive to work is less than a mile.)

Yes check your fluid leve if anything with colder fluid your stall should be slighlty tigher, However do bear in mind the converter clutch will not lock up till the engine reachs around 130 degrees.

If anything I OVER filled the fluid. It sprayed out of the dipstick the other day. Any thoughts on THIS?
