T56 Swap Part Numbers

Hello Everyone,

My Auto appears to be biting the dust and I have been debating converting to a T56 or rebuilding it with a nice stall. I just didnt want to buy a used kit to convert to a T56 and was wondering if anyone had the part numbers for everything in the T56 swap (Pedals, switches, etc. This way I can look it all up and figure everything out cost wise. I would probably buy the tranny itseld from D&D since they are a good Tremec dealer.

I'm figuring about $2500 for an auto rebuild with a good stall. I know the t56 swap will probably run me more money but if its not too bad, I would go for it. I have too much into the car to sell it and buy a stick car and I always wished it was a manual. Also can anyone reccommend a good clutch? I was thinking Mcleod single disk.

Thanks!

Chris

I have a list of all the part numbers you need, except the ones for the pedals because I got them off ebay. Shoot me a PM and I can email it to you.

I like my RAM clutch. Both my old HDX and the new Powergrip slip and drive pretty good. Never taken it to the track though, but it grips good when I get on it.

What's wrong with good used parts? I understand wanting to make sure it is quality stuff, but I wouldn't waste that much money at the dealer...

Thanks. The paint actually looks like crap right now, the desert really did a number on it. But hopefully insurance will pull through.

I agree. The dealer is a rip-off. I got a lot of my stuff off ebay, but I ended up spending more than I wanted at the dealer. Some of the bolts you have to get from GM anyway, like the PP bolts.
