Since your question only related to which way the wires went, then obviously which type of plug it was was a moot point anyway .

And in that thread, you didn't mention what year your car is, or what kind of trans you have. Since you posted in an old thread by someone who had a 94 3.4L T5, I guess we were supposed to guess that you weren't asking about the same car. And I guess I was stupid enough to ASSume you WERE asking about the same setup as the OP.

Suggestion - START A NEW THREAD.... giving us a complete description of the SPECIFIC year, model, engine and trans you are asking about.
