T56 difference between 1993 and 1994 up

My buddy as found a t56 for his car(z28 ,1994) but its a 1993 and the part number is not the same as the 1994

Is it gonna fit(i would think yes)

But the big question is whats the difference between the 1993 model and the 1994 and up?

Thank you

'93 t56:
M28 3.36 first
M28 2.97 first

Main differences, I think 3rd is also different between them.
