T56 Clutch Fluid AND gear box fluid... What do you use?

Question T56 Clutch Fluid AND gear box fluid... What do you use?



Just wondering what you guys use that I couod grab at autozone or pep-boys etc. That is what is near me and it seems like their selection sucks and I want to do this right and once* What do you use?

Clutch master fluid??

T-56 gear box fluid?

?

I think Clutch fluid is just DOT3 Brake fluid??

After my T56 rebuild I put what the sticky on the side of the trans said, Dextron III. I listen to the people that build it over all others. Who cares about brands. It has to meet or exceed those standard to be labeled that.

Cool

used dot 3 for clutch hydraulics. Ordered a gallon of synthetic redline manual trans fluid with dexron mercon 3 etc. from summit. I pay 10.95 for shipping anyway for the bearing so might as well grab the stuff I would get at pepboys or autozone and it would be more expensive for the synthetic there IF they even have it...
