T56 to a 305?

Does anyone know if a t56 out of a 94Z will bolt up to a 305 engine block?

got a great deal on a built 305 with only 6000 miles on it. so im gonna throw that in for now until i can save enough money for a new motor. Just wasn't sure if a stock 6 speed t56 would bolt up to a older 305 block?

As long as you have the T56 bellhousing & clutch / flywheel and it's an 86-up block, yes.

Poor gear ratios for a 305 though.
