I am having a real hard time shifting my tranny into 5th and 6th gears, and sometimes it won't go at all. Grinds real bad. I am broke as a joke (trying to get through the last 5 months of school without another loan) and don't have the money for a full rebuild. I am considering tearing this thing apart and just replacing that synchro (at least that is what I am thinking is the problem). I know it sounds crazy, but I have the time, just not the money. I am just wondering if there are any special tools I am going to need and if so where can I find these tools? Also, any extra tips or advice would be great as I have not yet seen the inside of a T-56 aside from pics. Thanks
