A few questions about the slave cylinder

I am putting my car back together and when I went to put the slave cylinder back in, I noticed the two "zip tie" looking things are just loose from the ball. When searching about this I found pics that look like they should be attached to the ball?? we put it together anyway, but now I am wondering if those keep the rod from coming out too far and popping off the clutch fork or what. Do I need a new slave cylinder? If I do, is there one available that has a bleeder on it. I just put in a Street Twin and need to bleed the system anyway.

thanks

Re: A few questions about the slave cylinder

Just put it together with the zip ties in place, holding the shaft. First time you push the clutch pedal, they will break and all will be exactly as the General planned.

Re: A few questions about the slave cylinder

OK, thanks. I guess I am fine to just leave it installed as it is.
