Ok It took a month and a half but I finally got my camaro back. Here is my original posts when I broke it:

I have been driving it around quite a bit and have noticed that the car seems to run much different in 1st gear. My car was balanced on the flywheel.... so with the new billet flywheel and new Ram clutch...the engine is outta balance. Hopefully w/ any luck a new harmonic balancer will fix this issue. (Any ideas where to get a harmonic balancer for a 383?)

Well when I put the car into first gear, right after the clutch engages the car seems to shake from left to right pretty quick for about 1 second, then it makes a whine....the whine sounds just like when you have a car in reverse and it has that sound when you get going fast...just kind of a hum.
Anyways 1st gear is the only gear w/ this hum. My mechanic can't hear it cause he's been driving drag cars all his life and is ****** deaf!
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this vibration/whine? Clutch just need to be broken in?
Oh and I know its bad to drive an unbalanced engine but with any luck the problem will be fixed by this weekend.
