t-5 transmission

i have a 1996 camaro z28 its automatic.
I have the chance of buying a t-5, only problem is its setup for a mustang.
Can i still use it?
Will it fit in my car?
Its a really good deal and i need to no if i can use it

What type of T5? If its a stock Mustang trans, its not going to have a very high torque rating. If its an aftermarket, high strength unit, like a TKO, it might survive behind the LT1. But you will have to solve the problem of finding a clutch that will work, a bell housing, the location of the shifter, a cross-member, a VSS, etc. I doubt anyone has opted to put a T5 behind the LT1, when the T56 is such a better choice.
