T-5 swap to mid 70s T/A
A friend of mine is looking at putting a T5 out of a 3rd Gen Z into a 2nd Gen 4spd Trans Am. Bell housing should still be a correct fit with the 400 Pontiac engine right? Any other parts?
The T5 will need some freshening so assuming he won't be satisfied with the 180hp stock output of the 75, is there anything he can do while he has it apart to make it more durable? I understand even the "world class" version of this transmission is only gould four steet tires and 350lbs of tq.
