swithcing to th-400, can,t get flexplate to tighten down
I am switching my 96 Z28 M6 to a turbo 400. While installing my flexplate, I could not get the bolts to tighten down. The little lip on the crankshaft stops the socket from getting a good grip on the bolts. It is a Callies dragonslayer crank, with the shorter ARP flexplate bolts. Do I need to use the spacer that summit sells that allows for the flexplate to become flush with the lip on the crank?
