You might want to ask how many people have actually tried something else. i've personally tried a the 5.0 and the Hurst. I'm sure most of the people that replied have only tried what they have. Everyone on here is a pro 5.0 person but how many have tried others?

I agree I have used the Hurst, back before the pro 5.0 was so big, and I drove a buddys car with the 5.0, and the hurst just felt better to me. So that is 2 votes for the hurst billet pro...

I have the SLP short throw with the TNA short stick and hurst shift ****. I honestly couldn't be any more happy.

I've drove a SS with a hurst in it, not for sure if its the same hurst as you speak of, but I would take the 5.0 over that one any day.

I've got the 5.0 with 1.25" cut off and a MBA Billet **** with the recessed threads... it's about as short as you can go...

Great shifter...

But after 35K miles it's due for some new/stronger springs...

Pro 5.0 and B&M are similar from personal experience, I prefer the 5.0 though with the short, angled stick.
