sts turbo with stock rearend

I plan to buy a sts turbo kit for my 94 z28 with the upgraded t-67 or t-70,72 turbo. I'm looking to make any where from 485-600 rwhp range. My stock 10 bolt rearend should it be fine for a summer or two. Since turbochargers are mostly for top end and tend to kick in higer rpms should be 10 bolt be okay for know as long as I dont dump the clutch. I only plan to take off from rolls on street tires. Superchargers kick in instanly and all the power is there where a turbo picks up power through out the rpm there for putting less strain on the rearend??

Re: sts turbo with stock rearend

You'll prolly be fine, just get a diff cover to keep the insides together under power, other then that as long as you don't launch and put the power to the ground in the first few gears you'll be more then fine I'm sure, I don't think you'll catch traction in the lower gears anyways, so long as you keep street tires you'll be fine, I beat on my 10 bolt with 4.10s and nothing ever went wrong, was quite as a mouse and I have over 400RWHP, so if you take it easy with you power and not beat on it you'll be good!
