street twin space and washer setup help

street twin space and washer setup help

anyone got any pics of the street twin washer and spacer setup? i took a few pics and now can't find the blame things.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the spacers are specific to each clutch they send out. Clearances are set at the factory. I don't remember what mine was I didn't take any notes/pics I just installed it when I got it. The only alternative you may have is to send it back to have it set up for you again.

77LT1. That is correct. I specifically remember the instructions stating to keep track of the shims exactly as the unit was shipped to you. Apparently the tolerances are very tight and each group of spacers need to stay together. If he is still there, talk to Gene at Mcleouds tech line. He will point you in the right direction.

well i guess i'll just send it in and have it rebuilt. unless he can give the the gaps he wants between the disks and floater. oh well **** happens i guess. thanks for the info guys.
